Thermoplastic multi-layer textiles, non-woven materials, or films can be cut into any shape using ultrasound and welded along the cutting contour simultaneously. The thermoplastic fiber content should be at least 20%. The vibration generated by the ultrasonic system cuts the cutting anvil with the corresponding cutting profile. At the same time, vibration attenuation generates heat in the cutting area, which leads to welding along the cutting edge.
