The oscillator of a 100khz high-frequency ultrasonic transducer typically produces relatively small amounts of larger sized and more energetic bubbles at low frequencies (20-30kHz). At high frequencies, much denser bubbles with medium or lower energy are formed. Low frequency is more suitable for cleaning heavy and large-sized components, while high-frequency (60-80kHz) ultrasound is suitable for cleaning complex surfaces and rinsing steps.
